I loved working with the kids

I was assisting the unemployed, uninsured, and patients that were from different countries. We had only so many openings with specialists that every request that came through had to be triaged for urgency and complexity. I felt that by finding doctors for these individuals very rewarding.

It was a great experience for the most part. However, not being from the Middle East I did not feel accepted. I was in a leadership position & acceptance was critical particularly from the Board.
