I'm studying this morning for my leadership class again. I just found my library books. I want to apologize to those here on Jobcase that sought my resume help who couldn't pay and I didn't know how to bend my policy. If you can't pay for example no credit or debit card or afraid I could be a scammer, I'm not trying to hurt anyone. I have donated some money to charity but I needed some money for groceries too. I turned down Kohls job to help you all with your resume. So why would a risk taker like me admit my mistakes a d be honest? Because I am courageous. I am here to help you even though I am working solo right now running my little company, like an fruitful seed it will grow in time. Is anyone here good at Marketing or Advertising? Please email me, I need help. Not sure how I can pay someone yet but I'm falling behind on fixing resumes because of administration duties fall on me too. I've been sick too. If you need assistance please email me or call me. My primary email is lkerriganfree@gmail.com But my gmail is overloaded so I'm trying to switch over to my yahoo account. Thank you all for being there for me encouraging me to keep doing the right thing. God bless, Lucinda Kerrigan owner of Resume Diva Company, Carbondale, IL (618) 751-6355 cell Now part of Books and Stitches. #advertising #courage #Leadership #marketing #resumes

I have served in the military in a very top rated position. I worked at a radio station called VUNC. As an producer and engineer, we produced PSYCHOLOGIAL WARFARE programs aimed at North Korea and China. were a sister station to Radio Free Europe. While we military, or direct boss was a CIA person. My career in civilian life includes being a national brand manager for the House of Seagram. I was responsible for the sales and advertising on my brand. I also owned and operated a restaurant in Rockefeller center, in New York. I was very successful, until my wife advised me we were moving to Florida. She was set for a very big position So we moved...and her job fell through. Trying to find a decent sales position, if over 35, was impossible. All jobs at publishing were a joke. I sat in rooms with high school drop outs, and was interviewed by 20 something person. This searched was not going to work. I kept looking and found a job that I knew I could handle and get health insurance. My ring is a testimony to my success. It tells the world my sales we a million dollars a year. Not a small feat when you consider I was selling funeral services. The company was sold, and I did fit into what were plans they had in mind. So here I am, looking for a position in sales, marketing and advertising. Hopefully you can find a position that will allow me to be a productive employee. Leonard Wasserman

I just finished a wonderful interview for what could possibly end up being a dream job opportunity in the advertising industry if I can land an offer. The Human Resources agent that contacted me for the initial phone screen and arranged my interview was extremely professional and courteous with me during the whole process leading up to my first interview. I don’t know how much input she has on the final decision but I would like to show my appreciation for everything she’s done to help me get to this far in the hiring process. Which is more professional, a thank you card, email, or letter?

I work in very male-dominated advertising office. I recently found out I’m pregnant. I’m worried my company is going to look down at me or slowly push me out of my job because I’ll eventually go on maternity leave. What should I do?

Hey guys, I’m thinking of getting into the advertising field, but I’m worried it’s a dying industry. Any advice or feedback from advertisers? Thanks everyone!

I’m home from college for the summer, and I really want an internship in advertising. Any advice on finding an internship? Should I apply for them, or just network to find opportunities? I’ve never done this before!

Hey Jobcasers -- I am noticing that Uber job listings seem to be everywhere. Not just multiple places on jobcase but on transnational job boards as well. I think Uber is a great company and working a gig for them can be a lucrative options (and I certainly enjoy Uber over cabs).
But.. Has their advertising gone too far on job and career oriented sites? Or am I just being too sensitive. Whadayathink?
