I would recommend working at AHRC if you are trying to get some experience with the physically and intellectually limited population. I believe that direct care should be for younger adults who has the energy to be out in the community frequently. As a case manager you have to have the ability to travel to all boroughs. If you are upper management, prepare to be faced with a system that has been proven to make the undergrounds disgruntled. No raise in 8 years, benefit cuts and more work. As mentioned, working there is for someone who wants to get their feet wet.
