I was let go after 17 years with no explanation

I first rode in from Mississippi to go to work on my bike. Met and worked for some good people and left not behind them but because of what the job in tailed compared to my years in the field and experience,

Allen-Bailey Tag & Label was a good place to work until Ennis bought the company and started firing good workers, until only about half as many people worked there anymore. The plant manager and the human resources director are son and mother, and already ran one business into the ground. After 16 years of service, I was fired so that the human resources director could hire her younger son to take my job. Also, since being out of Allen Bailey, lies that were told about me by the assistant plant manager have gotten back to me. They tried to cheat me out of 3 weeks severance pay too. I currently have a case against them through the EEOC for age discrimination and so does at least one other former employee. I wouldn't advise anyone to apply there.
