Giving the wrong price. Everything was done by written receipts, and sometimes due to the volume, I have put down the wrong price. Most customers understood and this was no problem when the wrong was righted. Others, even though they knew it was wrong, always wanted the lower price.

Big sale days are very stressful. The ability to deliver to a large number of purchasers at the same time is almost impossible. We may advertise a one week delivery time but when the time comes, we may have to tell them two to three weeks because of the volume. This causes stress on everyone.

Sometimes, things do not go as smoothly as we want them to. Of course when we have delays due to our inability to get some of the orders filled, due to primarily being out of stock or the manufacturer is on back order, the customer is not pleased. He just had his expectations burst. I would normally try to appease him by offering an accessory that he did not order as a small gift.

The people. It is always satisfying when you can make someones dreams come true. We were about making play/game rooms come to life. The look on the customers face when this happened, is what is was all about.
