I had taken the booking of one function for 6th of July. But by mistake I had written on 7th July in my diary. Luckily for me the host called me to check what time I would be coming to setup the area. That was the time I realized what mistake I had made. I owned up my mistake with my owner. He called all the team members and ensured that I was able to finish the catering of the day to the entire satisfaction of the client.

Beside the regular catering, when we have outdoor catering than the day is very stressful.

Coworkers, especially the Chef, get angry if we give additional requirements of food during the normal day. One such day had orders that were normal and than emergency requirements came. There were some international delegates who initially thought of going out to hotel to eat but hanged their mind. So the client had to order their special requirements from us. Also some of the night shift of the clients get angry if we serve them some lighter snacks as midnight meals. The anger is expressed during the day time when they report on duty. This is acceptable as most of the people who work in the night shift do not do it willingly. Hence such reactions come. But we need to accommodate the moods of the people.

The work culture. It has a family work culture. Wherein all the staff work as members of family.

Annapurna Caterers encouraged me and gave me exposure to do the marketing. The company being very close to my residence helped me to give more valuable time. Also the owners gave me the freedom to choose the menu for the local needs as well as VIP and International delegates of all our clients.
