As a kitchen supervisor, working for Aramark, is was in a jail setting in which I wasn't to comfortable with. That position wasn't really my cup of tea. Everything needing to be locked up, and really not being able to get to know your workers. They were to be treated as criminals not as human beings.

When I worked for Aramark at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital as Director of Housekeeping, we had a situation where a one and only chart for a child was missing and the last place it was seen was near a garbage can. After all places this chart could have been were explored and it couldn't be found anywhere, we decided it had probably fell in the trash and was at the trash dump. So a team of us went to the dump and spent about 4 hours in the worst smell I had ever encountered. We found the chart, what made the chart so special was that every medical record for this child was in this chart. I was so proud we went out to find a needle in a trash dump.

Aramark is a good place to work. We have holiday breaks that work out with the breaks my kids have at school. The only downside about working for Aramark is the pay is not well. I work my butt of for very little pay.
