When the DM, RM, TSM, RCSM tells you that they are there to help you in any way and do not hesitate to call or message them...DO NOT BELIEVE THEM!!!! They will tell you just what you want to hear or tell you that they will have so-and-so take care of it, or they will not even get back to you. Also if one of the upper management (store manager-Regional Manager) is doing something wrong you are EXPECTED to report it ASAP. As soon as you report them you are putting your first foot out the door. As soon as you do something wrong they are sure to start their processes to terminate you, making sure the reason has nothing to do with them.
Being a CSM (Commercial Sales Manager) you assume all responsability for the whole commercial program in your store, which is ok, until you ask for help or try to get other coworkers to become team players. When you ask for help, they will tell you "ok, let me talk to _______, and we will get you the help, or we will talk to your coworkers about being the team players that they are supposed to be. All in all, the more you ask for help, the more you are denied or ignored. If and when your program is not running to company expectations, all blame and eyes are pointed and focused on you!!!
If you are thinking of working for AutoZone, I advise doing your research on the company, regional and corporately!!! READ REVIEWS FOR YOUR MANAGEMENT!!!!

It is a face pace job but u make some great connections with co workers and some of the customers.

12 years experience

Can be a good company but Upper Management at the District and Regional offices are incompetent.

Nothing really because one of the managers got upset with me because I wouldn't start her car.

I loved everything about working at AutoZone because I am a people person and I enjoy helping others.
