Be willing to make your job an open door to suggestions and always look for a new direction to follow and be honest in all your dealings with others as well as yourself.

I believe my biggest downfall was not being open enough, to be fully honest with myself as well as others, that i really did not, have it all figured out." I should have been more open to suggestions, and direction from my superiors and cleaned up my act and listened.

I am an experienced parts manager that has worked in dealerships since 1991. My current job is not panning out money wise. I have been looking for new jobs (not even in the industry) and have applied to several with no call backs. Is there anyone in the community that can help with my resume, or even recommend a similar position to look for in a different industry? Need help desperately. I live in far western suburbs of Chicago.
