being proud to work for a big company like Avis. so happy to help customers, we try harder

its a very good company, and as long as you do what you were hired for, you would enjoy working at avis

The only mistake I can remember was not asking a customer if he wanted to upgrade to a larger car.

when we were short on cars for our days rentals

We all worked like family,so no one got angry with each other

meeting different people, and working with a group of very good workers

I was working the daytime shift for yardworker / car prep at the fleet operations facility at 5515 Backlick Road Springfield VA. It was the Friday before July 4th when we had to move several lines of cars to another location to make way for the new shipment of cars being delivered by truck. There was a line of expensive brand new Volvos which I parked at the opposite area of the lot. The mistake came when I parked the line of Volvos so close to each other that the front and rear bumpers made contact with each other causing slight damage to the front and rear frames of the Volvos. The Monday after, I was fired because the claim was I caused $28,000 dollars in damages which the Avis Company Insurance had to pay for. Please tell Richard The Regional Manager that I am sorry and this incident was not intentional.
