Hi! My name is Ryan Liao and I am about to be a fourth-year student at the University of California, San Diego. I believe that my overall background as well as my course experience at this institution have prepared me exceptionally well for any such position. Data has always fascinated me throughout my life. Throughout all of my interests and passions, I would somehow always find a way to make a spreadsheet out of them. Now, my studies have taught me both the skills to analyze, as well as the concepts to interpret data.
My time in the Data Science B.S. program has made me very familiar with programming in various languages (Python, SQL, Java, HTML, Javascript, D3, Dask, Spark), data management/analysis, and machine learning. The program itself is consistently regarded as one of the premier data science programs in the country, being ranked 10th nationally by U.S. News. I have completed every lower-division course as well as most of my upper division courses as well. I am also completing a minor is Political Science Data Analytics. This minor has allowed me to incorporate data science concepts to solve real world public policy problems. It has also given me an abundance of experience programming in R and Stata. I would love to apply what I have learned during my time here to a job that can give me some working experience before I graduate.
This university has also given me so many opportunities to meet other brilliant individuals. Working with these people has given me a lot of perspective into what a job environment could look and feel like. It also allowed to evaluate my own performance in these circumstances. I have always felt a strong sense of responsibility anytime I work with others. I am very personable and easy to get along with. I also believe that I am an exceptional communicator and can succeed in almost any work environment. I am confident that the skills I have acquired so far and the experiences I have been through can translate to any field. I would love to continue discussing my qualifications and I am looking forward to this incredible opportunity.
Thank you for your time and consideration!

It is possible that JetBlue hiring managers may look at an applicant's online activity during the background check process. Many companies conduct background checks on job candidates as part of the hiring process, which may include reviewing an applicant's social media profiles and other online presence.
During this process, hiring managers may be looking for any information that could raise red flags about the candidate, such as evidence of illegal or unethical behavior, discriminatory or offensive comments, or a lack of professional conduct. Therefore, it is important to be mindful of the content you post online and to present a professional image on social media and other online platforms.
It's worth noting that JetBlue might have their own background check policy, which they are required to inform the candidate before proceeding. Therefore, you should check with the company if you have any questions or concerns about their background check process.
In general, it's always a good idea to be aware of your online presence and to present yourself in the best possible light, as you never know when a potential employer may be looking at your online activity.

Thank you for your consideration,
I've only just relocated to Seminole, and after 5 years on rather "exciting" deployments in the world's deserts, I'm very ready for a more tame job stateside.
My background may seem a little too adventurous than that of a writer, but it is where I have now put my focus for the above reason.
Cheers, JW

I have a background in photography, videography, audio engineering, podcasting, graphic design, communications, and marketing. I’ve worked with many clients over the years and have a huge passion for enriching the culture of the Lehigh Valley. In addition, I’m a producer and host on The Lehigh Valley Arts Podcast, which focuses on the arts scene of the Lehigh Valley by documenting artists and arts administrators who are doing great things!

I live here here in the state of Phoenix AZ, And I must say their background check policy is ridiculous.

My strongest asset is having nearly four decades of providing superior customer service in retail sales. I also have some food service management background from my early employment history. All of my sales positions were commissioned based or driven. Although I excelled and thrived in those positions, I am seeking new career opportunity. Preferably a career that values the skills sets of superior customer service with compensation that is hourly, or salary based.

When I worked at Foodlion they just looked at application but things have changed more now so idk
