Hi everyone! I am a single mom of an awesome 7 year old and I have decided it is time to make a change for him and myself. I have a BA in psychology that I received in 2005. I am starting to consider pursuing something in the education field, perhaps elementary education (PK-3) or school counseling. However, I have worked in restaurants for over 10 years. So it will be a big adjustment. I know I will have to go back to school. Does anyone have any suggestions on getting started since I already have my Bachelor's? Even if you have some words of inspiration or motivation, I could definitely use those as well. Thanks everyone!

My daughter gets real sick sometimes so I need a job where I can pick my own hours and be there for her. I can’t leave her with daycare because they can’t take care of her right. I am by myself and have no family near me out here in Denver. It gets real hard. I don’t want to drive a car for uber or lyft. What else is there?? I have heard people talk about gig jobs in other forums. What are those? Please help us. I feel so alone.

I wasn't at Toys R Us as long as I am sure some people here were, but I shopped there for my children like many of us had. Then eventually I went to work there. Toys R Us helped me by offering me part time flexible hours. My kids are still young and now it will be hard to find a job that will support my needs. I am worried because they have closed. I really loved my co-workers too....just pretty disappointed but businesses close what can you do?

Single mom to a 1 year old need a good job i can do at home w good pay

I have been a stay at home mom since 2014 and am looking for a work life blend to accommodate the schedules i have going. I would like a job that could be done from home but am ready for a full time position elsewhere if the right job pops up

I'm a house wife looking for a job at home.

I've got a lot of experience in fast food and some in waitressing, my husband works but I hate sitting at home want to make my own money. Open to all options only problem is don't have my license right now but I do have transportation and willing to walk also. I had an interview at McDonalds and have worked for them for 7 1/2 years but had a mishap with the last ones and despite of that I had managers telling me to put my application in so I did but another manager had interview me and it was all up to the manager from where I worked before and of course I cant work for them. I was horrified cause I counted on that job so here I am still trying does anyone have suggestions?

It's hard finding a job that fit into my going back to school goals. Full time mom, full time supporter, full time job working not what my passion is. I daydream about painting.

I am 19 years old and have a 2 year old daughter trying to find a part time job but no one will hire me

I have been a stay at home mother for 3 years and am newly single. I am about to lose everything and need a job with a paycheck in the next couple weeks.
