Before Become a stay at home mom I work at Roberts Roofing and Siding as there HR Person, I handled everything from payroll to Job posting of hrs worked to union and health insurance really anything employee related. I was brought in to help temporarily but it became a 10 yr full time job from 20 employees to over 400 including out of state workers and work it became very demanding 60+ a week and I was starting a family so we chose for me to stay home until all of our kids were in school and finally that day has come and Am so excited to start back in the workforce

I am a new mom , looking to go back to work fulltime and I simply cant my hours back from my current employer. I have a experience in food service and went to school for medical office specialist yet no one wants a inexperience MOS with just training. It's very frustrating.

I have one felony conviction, I was At the wrong place at the wrong time, but I was Using at the time so I plead Guilty.i did my probation, I payed Off all my fees.j went back to school and got my ged. I have Never even had a speeding ticket. Just made one bad mistake. Will this always ruin my chances of getting a job? I live In Norman ok. And I want To do an assembly job or a wharehouse job in my area

Trying to get back in to the Workforce, I was a homemaker for the last 15 years. I have had a few jobs during that time periodically. I drive for Uber and Lyft. I feel like I'm starting over. I need help with interviews. Suggestions please.

I had a MD state trooper tell me at 2am last Wednesday that it was illegal for my child to be in the sleeper. I told him that was NOT true at all! I work as a team and my co-driver was sleeping. You have to have one if your kid is under a certain age, usually 5 but depends on the company. He tried to lecture me about being a good mother and I ALMOST lost it right there. My son is VERY well cared for, safe and loved. He ran my license then comes back and tells me to have a good one. No ticket, so I guess he knew he was wrong.

I am a back to work mother who took care of two little ones for over 5 years. I love my girls but I wanted to go back to work so I applied at Sephora and got the job as cashier last month. I am so happy they took a chance on me!! I hope one day to try and do some makeup applications once I learn more. I have always loved this store so it's nice to work here! It's so nice to be back to work.

I have been off work since 2017 dec because my son was diagnosed autistic and it was getting complicated to help him adjust to school and having back to back meetings for IEP meetings. I had to quit my temp job witch was to attend to my son as a stay at home mommy and had to move back home for some extra support from mom. Now I'm back to school full time to build my career and I'm able to work again part time even as temp for an office or just monday threw sunday jobs check out my resume and all I posted. I’ve been a stay at homemaker, which now my children are school age, I’m ready to get back in the real world of getting paid. Raising my children is extremely rewarding but a paycheck isn’t part of the plan. I’m raising 3 daughters and have my daughters are amazing and I’d like to think it’s because of how dedicated of a mother I am. I really need income and let’s face it having a job would be really rewarding.

My name is Holly I'm 35 years old and started work very young, I actually only had 2 part time jobs as a teenager 15/16 I went through cosmetology school and by 17 I was working in salon doing back up work until I graduated high school. When I graduated I went for testing got my license and spent the next 16 years of my life in a small mom and daughter salon I loved it but I didn't get anywhere in life in the meantime I realised 2 boys on my own took care of a mother getting transplant and a grandma going through broken hip surgeries and nursing homes one day it all got too much and I walked out of my job(fight with daughter of salon) and became a stay at home mom to now 3 boys ages 13yrs to 19 months. My husband has been out if work for a few months and this mom is going nuts so the problem is I have a problem getting hired because I don't have much of a resume I worked at McDonald's at 15 a small video store at 16 and then the hair salon for the rest of my life . It would be awesome if I wanted to go back into a salon but I'm ready to try something new I'm not sure if schooling is the way I need to go or just to a job. I'm at a loss ! But if I don't do something soon were going to lose out on the life we do have were getting so far behind with my husband being off idk know where to begin
