BAE Systems was a government contractor for the military and secret services. And I wanted to do my part to help our men & woman in the Iraqi war! So i was one of many people that helped built all of the M.R.A.P.S and Humvees for our soldiers in the war I was a Mig Welder and Fabricator it was one of the proudest jobs I ever had I was so proud of what we did I got it tattooed on my arm just to remember all the things that we did for our soldiers our motto was we protect those who protect us!

Many contracts and proposals being administered and submitted.

I always try to stay neutral and help the person get or do what is needed. Stay calm and level headed. I have a good personality so it wasn’t hard to calm her down and explain the misunderstanding.

Building trucks for the military. We built the Family of Medium Tactical Vehicles. Contract no longer with BAE. The Government prefers not to have a sole source contractor.

That they lie. They tell you one thing and then do the opposite. Can't believe anything.

Make the best deal you can going in, because raises and promotions are not automatic or frequent and keep looking for your next job, because if anything happens, end of contract, RIF, etc., you have only two weeks to find something else in BAE Systems and little help from HR finding it.

Spent too much time surfing the Internet when I had no work to do.

Customer had no work for me during the entire month of December, though I asked for, volunteered for, and suggested work I could do. Then, was laid off abruptly with negative consequences.
