They don't really care about the employees. At least that's what i infered, from my observation. They also lied to me at the end. When i started working there i was supposed to go to see my moms in Dominican Republic for christmas. They said no due to the busy holiday season. So i purchased my ticket for february 22. They said to me just put in your request 2 weeks in advance. I did it.in 3 weeks in advance. On the 21 first they called me into the office with some lowdown excuse that i came to work 15 minutes late twice. And this was due to the winter blizzard we had that week when mass transit was not running on time. So offcourse i was late due to that. They used that to tell me that i could not go and see my moms before she passed, even thought i had purchased my flight already. So i became irate and i told them tnat they said that i could go, and that they would approve it even thought i had time to use up. Their solution? Resign and when you come back reapply and we'll call you back. I reapplied 3 times already and they blackballed me. So to me it was a nightmare working there. I used to see employees stealing all sorts of things. Specially electronics. I felt that it wasn't my place to be a rat and be telling on them. Now. Had i been with management i would've said something. I never stole from them. And I'm the guy that they walked all over, and lied to.

Not complaining to management" when the day after payday. Some maintenance associates wouldn't show up to work. Then i had to do their job and mine. Now that was stressful.

When it was really cold outside, and they used to tell you to bring all the shopping carts full of garbage inside. And I'm talking about 50 carts full of garbage.

Hi Kirk: Thanks for posting to Jobcase! If you click on the orange BJ's Wholesale Club text in your post, and then click the Apply button on the next page, you can see the positions you're hiring for. If you're looking for something different, here's how to do a job search on Jobcase:

  • Double-click the Jobs button at the top of this page
  • Enter the type of job role you're looking for
  • Click the blue search button If you see something that looks interesting, just click View Job and follow the instructions to apply. Let us know how it works out for you!

Hey Sarah, thanks for reaching out - and I bet it has nothing to do with those things (although it can feel like it sometimes). Instead of waiting for them to get in touch with you, I'd reach out and ask about the status of your application. Call the BJ's where you applied and ask to speak to a hiring manager. Tell them you're excited about the job opportunity and would like to know when you can come in for an interview.
