I was recently laid off. My boss said for lack in work not enough work coming into the company right now. But at the same time he brought up my disability which is epilepsy/seizures saying that since i cant drive and had no license what could he use me for i felt offended considering he has known my issues when i was hired. I live in Delaware and with my condition they take your license away for 3 months and after that and a doctor write up and staying seizure free for 3 months you can get them back. That hasn't happen for me and i may never get them back again cause of my issues. Also if I was let go for not enough work for company how come no one else was let go just me. Wondering if i have a case?

I don't understand, the government claims there are many new jobs and they are always listing them. I have regular work experience but no degree.. I'm in my late 50's, not interested in going back to school. And was fired from job in March and still don't know why. I can't even get jobs housekeeping anymore. Help me figure out why

I decided to get back into the workforce after leaving it some 5 years ago. I decided that even with education and a past work history which was strong, 5yrs was 5yrs! It seemed assuming to try and go back to the level of pay or position without some practice for lack of better words. Since I had let most of my licensing and certifications lapse and they are expensive to test and retake I felt luck when I found an employer who provided a paycheck while training and testing, including all associated fees. The fees alone are over 5000.00 and the educational portion another 5-7K. My problem is this: the left hand doesn't know what the right one is doing! I past all coursework and all State testing requirements and have my license but the level of frustration with constant miscommunication is to much. From the first day it has been a side show and stop go stop go stop roll is getting to be the normal for them. I hate to think that this is the way of their doing business but I have seen little evidence that it is anything but sheer confusion. Did I waste five months of my time? I don't think I can go on like this and I have yet another meeting tomorrow with managers for another mess up. What should I do at this point? The money is not bad and was promised to increase every month which it has so far but the confusion is more than I can take! HELP!

I worked at Sparks Regional Medical Center in Ft. Smith, AR for 32 yrs. In ICU and was Unit Secretary/EKG Monitor Tech for almost 15 yrs! I was very good at my job and loved it! Then they told us we were being displaced because you had to be licensed to work in ICU. So now I'm looking for a job like I had or anything like medical office or receptionist or medical assistant in a clinic, Dr.office or hospital, Retirement home or medical service. I'm ready to get back to work taking care of people is what I love to do.
Thanks Kim Qualls

If you go for an associates degree you may as well go for a bachelor's degree too...because from what I heard I'm over qualified for alot of jobs but also under qualified for many others. So is it best not to mention college on my job applications??

My name is Sherry and I taught school in Balto Co for the 2015-2016 school year. It was not a good experience for me and the principal and my immediate supervisor said they would do anything they could to help me find another job. I accepted a position on August 11 and sent in my official notice. Human resources is saying that they are going to have my teaching certification suspended???? I did not do anything wrong. How can they do this?

I noticed when I clicked on the pharmacist in charge position, there was no requirement. How many years of experience is required? Is there other skills beside certifications that is needed?
