The problem is that employers used to just train people on the job or people would figure it on the job, now employers want people to have this certification or that certification or even if someone has the right degree and background they need to have specialized experience even if the person has experience doing something very similar but it is not exactly exactly what the employer is hiring for.

I had on my resume i had a diploma which is not true not knowing the company i applied for wanted the institution name where i received it at which i had to give that info on the computer... I also did my criminal background which I'm not concerned about... I was already hired and given my start date and pay and hours. The background had came last and this is at an call Center...I was also fired from my last call center job but i don't think they are going to check far as the back ground I'm not sure Do anyone know will this come back and affect me or do anyone knows anything about this?

After several certifications which were great learning/training positions, I find that I need to revise my resume. I need help and if possible an opportunity to see any Adjuster resumes on site.

I've been a live in Care Provider for 8 and 1/2 years. The problems that I'm having is being hired because a lot of people are looking for license CNA' s and what not. I do not have my license' s but I am certified with certificates and had training and so forth through Georgia Pines. What can I do? I am a single mother who needs to be on her feets soon. Any suggestions???? I'm all ears and eyes. :)

I was offerd this position from Mount Carmel through a Hospital, I did everything they asked me to the job recruiter tried to come up with anything instead of telling me they gave the job to someone else there trying to say my High school Diploma isn't accredited. I've been going through it with this third party background check company called HireRight there not excepying my Diploma because it's not a public Diploma it's a private alternative school Accredited Diploma. ... this sucks... what I don't understand is that this position was a transfer cause I'm already working with this company. ..
