My advice to people trying to get work for Coastal fisheries is to ave experience in running outboard and inboard boats and have some experience in the bays and gulf that you are applying in , also know how to identify fish shrimp crabs plant life how to construct gill nets bag sirens and shrimp travels you have to learn how to enter fisheries data on computer.

I retired with 28 yrs of service and my captain 100 ton master boat license is still active so l am Captain of a 105 ft offshore crew boat at the present time.
