I worked at Chrysler for 17 years and had many positions along the way… Be persistence in your approach, be focused not on the company but the position you’re seeking. If the position aligns with your gift, you’ll never feel like it’s work. On the other hand if your just applying for everything, the HR filters won’t take you seriously. Also, utilize any and all resources within the company to assist you. Inside referrals can be powerful from my personal experiences.

I hard in as line loader . then machine operator. Then it became a competition between first and second shift who could get the most parts. after a year i transferred into the Generator Department. Where i did pit work aluminum and steel chips.drove scrubber - sweeper-hilo--and other vehicles in the plaint. Then I transferred in department 440 . Where i job set cnc machines and set up tooling .Than I transferred to set up tooling for the whole plant .after about 14 to 15 years I retard. after i was given a buyout. With a total of 38 years.

I wanted to work at chrysler because of the factory setting and that they have wonderful benefits and pay

Go to work everyday, work hard, and do a good job. Appreciate the the job you have, and respect your co workers

Well the biggest mistake would have been in not advansing myself to a better job.I could have went further

A successful day could be the boredom of working on the line,

I loved learning different jobs and the final product coming off the end of the line

Rumors spread around that plant JNAP. I had problems at home with my daughter and wanted to take time off . Management came by my work area and pulled my hair, punch me in the stomach, and called me a MF
Keep applying every 90 days if you don’t hear from them and eventually your application will be put at the top of the list also make sure you have a resume that stands out different format than the traditional resume.
