I was part-time, from 8 til 1 5 days a week. The first 2 weeks I stayed over to help get the filing & other things that had not been done. That was the reason for my hiring. The other person was overloaded with work and she needed help on a part time basis. Even though I worked over every day for 2 weeks, I was not paid for those hours. I didn't mind because I enjoyed the job at that time.

Hey everyone,
So i am a hard working girl, I have been doing supervisor/operations work, and work my ass off at every job I have. I have great references from all my bosses, and other higher ups that I've worked with in my last few jobs. I am now trying to move into a different type of occupation other than working in the SUD/mental health field, I need a mental break from doing this type of work.. as it can be emotionally draining, and I also want to just find what I would really like to do more of as a career. I thought working in treatment would be my career goals, but I would like to work in a different medical/ clerical or administrative work. I have a good resume and have been applying for jobs like crazy on indeed and ziprecruiter, but I have had the worst luck. I keep getting these bs interviews and calls for interviews, or emails.... and these places don't even explain what the job really entails... and when I ask which position it is for, they always say costumer service, which really means sales of some sort... like door to door, or cold calling, and usually some type of pyramid scheme.
I have been working in administrative/office and operational work for years, I have a strong skill set, and honestly I think it's so crappy that I get a bunch of bogus interviews.... It is so hard trying to move into a different type of line of work after working in treatment the last few years, I have had to work at temp jobs, and take major pay cuts.... and I am scared to apply to jobs online these days, because they all feel fake or like a scam to get my information. Anyway, I am done ranting.... just a frustrated human trying to get a job I deserve.
