HW Staffing Solutions is hiring full time, work from home COVID-19 Communicable Disease Investigators in Florence, KY.

Pay Rate: $25 - $32 p/hr!

HW Staffing Solutions has partnered with the State of Kentucky Public Health Staff to help stop the spread of the COVID-19 virus. We are hiring for COVID-19 Investigators

The company is looking for experienced current students or graduates from a college of public health, medical science, college of nursing, or school of medicine.

In this support role, your goal is to locate patients of COVID-19 and persons with whom they have had contact. Investigation procedures involve contacting various information sources such as welfare agencies, neighbors, hospitals, work locations, restaurants, and bars. The investigator is primarily concerned with locating persons who should be examined for acute infection.

Primary Tasks of an Investigator Include:

  • Interview patients to produce information regarding their contacts to COVID-19
  • Educates and counsels patients regarding transmitted diseases and risk reduction.
  • Locate identified persons who have COVID-19 or who have been in contact with infected individuals; direct these individuals to submit necessary laboratory specimens and such other essential control measures.
  • Encourage persons who have been in contact with COVID-19 to have medical examinations and laboratory testing as applicable.
  • Provides information and education on COVID-19 to phone inquiries.
  • Conducts interviews with persons who are COVID-19 positive and assists them in informing their close contacts of their positive status, see more!

Job Requirements Include:

  • Current student or graduate from a college of public health, medical science, college of nursing, or school of medicine
  • Excellent interpersonal skills required and ability to interact professionally with culturally diverse individuals during a time of crisis and distress
  • Proficiency with computers
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
  • Ability to show empathy to distressed individuals in a time of crisis, see more!
