After working as a teller at a currency exchange for a couple of months I decided to apply to other jobs after my boss started sending me out to work at different locations. I needed a job that was closer because I currently don't have my car, and a better salary would also be nice. Well, my brother's friend was able to get me an interview at metro pcs a month ago and it went well, ending with the manager asking when I could start. After thinking about it I decided to turn in my two weeks notice and accept the offer at metro pcs. Big Mistake. It seemed like a good offer at the time, the location was three blocks away from my house and aside from our check we would also get commission. As soon as I walked in the first day I new I had made a mistake, the mangers were rude and I could tell they would rather be doing something else other than train me. After working with them for two weeks, I got fired... through text. The only reason I found out I was fired was because I noticed that my metro email account had been deleted. After texting my manager about the problem with my account, he texted back saying they decided not to go with me after all. I don't know why I was fired, I was always punctual, I tried my best to learn as much as possible, I was respectful towards the coworkers/costumers... To be honest, I was a bit relieved when I read the text because the environment there was terrible and I was always uncomfortable. I guess I'm not that upset that I was fired, I'm more upset at how they went about firing me. I almost feel like they weren't even planning to tell me I was fired, the only reason I found out was because I texted one of the managers to help me out with my email! It's been a stressful week trying to figure out how to pay for school and bills, it sucks not having a job. It's so ridiculous, I don't know whether to laugh or cry.

The staff always kind and they kept a professional atmosphere and very understanding and the annual bonus was a plus I would recommend their company to anyone

This place is a joke...the Owner Keith is a guy that has no morals...he says you can make $70,000 a year when the truth is that you would be lucky to get payed working here...Customer off the street bring odds and ends to the shop to get either repaired or made new....because most customers are regular Joes....they don't wanna pay the price that the part cost....shocker...huh? Well that's where you get screwed cause he won't pay you either...he knocks off 5- 8 hours you put in right off the top of your check and if you say something he yells at the top of his lungs...like a 10 year old child...so you take the cut...he always promises that you'll get on the next week...Never happens either...blames the fact that he's not making money either! Continually makes promises and doesn't deliver! HE swears he's an Mechanical Engineer and he cannot read prints correctly....I'm a 12+ years in machining and I couldn't stand the stupidity..anymore!!

Hi. iv been struggling with my boss. we have been developing a really good mother-son friendship lately, But every time i make a mistake at work or something wrong happened she blame herself for being ''to good' or ''giving too much confidence''. I have no day off, she took it away from me for an hundred dollars raised, because we cut of staff. She says im not working as i used to (cheerful, motivated, happy) after that we fought and i said its because i dont rest and shes always asking me to help my coworkers but they NEVER help me, IM ALWAYS the last one to leave the work place. I feel frustrated because she says we take advantage of her, but she is putting so much pressure on me and she expects me to have a smile in my face all the time.. iv been working here for a year now, i want to leave but she's promised me a new promotion (kitchen assistant) better salary and she's opening a new restaurant soon and wants me to be there.. but i feel i CANT stand her rudeness and attitude and my coworker's anymore.

My position was taken away from me due to accusations that I did not keep confidential information a secret. Which was never proven more over it was untrue. I had to go to Virginia Workers Compensation Commission to get paid for my Security Managers negligence for me getting hurt on job. Also others were retaliated against and wrongfully terminated as I was. There were several EEOC claims that were filed against this establishment. This led to the firing of the then Security Director Mr. Fam. Also there was a report where a security worker was called a black nigger by a guest and nothing was done about it by management. Rotonda Condominium is one of the most predjudice places I have been in but I managed to remain working there for two years because they knew I was a 3 term Advisory Neighborhood Commissioner in Washington DC. 2022865175.

I won't go on about it, but I would not advise anyone to work for this company if they have long term aspirations for advancement. At least not in the Northeast region. Too many hours, no recognition and no room for growth and support from higher ups virtually non existent. Logistics are archaic at best. Bonus structure for the first year was pathetic based on projected sales forecast for a small town store. Unfortunately the pay scale for the workers is below the competitions, so when you pay peanuts, you get elephants who leave the work for the manager to do. Creates high turnover that the manager is held accountable for. You just can't win.

Ive been with this company for over 9 years now and all they seem to do is take things away from the field. We had a bonuses they took it away. 3 dollar raise in 9 years just isnt enough with raising rent in california. What do you guys think? Time to move on?

What to do if you had nothing to pay to get into school. And you was looking for work. But you can't get nothing! I need a simple job that wouldn't mind so I can do so.

It was cool at first until they gave us mandatory overtime . Everybody was upset but was willing to discuss options . They made it seem like we were going to vote and then all of a sudden it was decided for us . It went fro 6 am -230 pm to 4:00 am-230pm. No extended lunch just a extra 10 mins break . Like what's that going to do for us.? We got treated like children . They kept yelling time on station which means because their asses were on the hot seat for falling behind on orders we couldn't barely even get water . It was close to a sweat shop . You have to bust your ass for months to even consider a pay increase . They play music all day but it's not decided by the workers . It's decided by the people who are supervisors who don't do anything but sit down . How is that fair ? You can't have your cell phone or you will get fired . I wouldn't suggest this job for anyone at all if you have real bills to pay

Left for much better pay.
