Started job 12/16 and walked away from it 4/17. I loved this job in the beginning but, my duties changed everyday the straw that broke the camels back is when I was asked to stay late and couln't. I explained that I have another job in which they knew. The next day I received a text from one of the supervisors asking me if I understood English. On that note I told them that I will not be returning to this position. Besides that I was being severely underpaid for my services and regret taking it. Any comments?

I'm 50 years old with blended of enjoyed to work to help my family my husband is disable and we really need the income and I need the adventures thank you.

I've been with my employer for 31 years, I work for a large hospital. I think I'm burned out. I'd like to change jobs but 1. don't know where to start, 2. can't take a pay cut.

I was called to bid a job after talking with the contractors we agreed on the terms discussed a verbal agreement as well as a handshake between the four of us my partner and I agreed to return the next morning with a materials list I paid advances to my hands to travel to my location for the job ,when we returned the next morning after getting a materials list spending 8 hours of my time to prepare for this job was informed that the contractor hired another company I was not notified I have $500.00 invested in time and advances .i feel I was discriminated against because I am a women I have been in the painting and renovation business for thirty years I can do a job just as well if not better then most men. Am I wrong to ask for reimbursement for my time and energy put into preparation for this job that I feel was so wrongfully denied my company

Hi all. I have a question. My husband has cancer. I am the sole breadwinner right now. I want to look for a new job that pays more so we won't be suffering too badly. The only stipulation is that I need to take so easy time off of work to care for my husband. It's not steady time off but intermittent when he is need of care during treatment. Do you think it's realistic that I could actually get hired in this situation? Is this something I need to bring up at an interview or wait until I get an offer? Ithe doesn't seem fair to a new employer to put them in a situation where I would not be able to perform my duties on a regular basis. So, I'm not really sure if I should bother.

I'm looking for something starting at 15 an hour I'm very dependable and a hard worker. Need night shift if available.
