Retiring early. After 45 years I was or felt burned out and the only way to fix that, I thought, was to retire.

Conestoga Tours has changed since I worked there. They are only a retail tour company now. When I worked there, they owned motor coaches, Avis, retail Tours, group Tours and the corporate company that owned them all one way or another.

When you thought all the road taxes were done and you found mileage missing and had to recalculate them and they needed to be post marked that day.

Didn't work with customers. Worked with co-workers. I was usually the person they came to when there was a problem. We just talked it out.

I loved my job. I worked on several different subsidies so my job was not boring. I had different things to do everyday.
