I have a boss that creates a hostile work environment for me. I don't know why he dislikes me so much but he has had me tears often once I get home.
I deal with escalations all the time on my job. I deal with people's Medicare supplement. I can usually talk my escalations down and turn it into a positive escalation.

The managers would not handle it
So, a week and a half ago I started my training to work as a member service representative at Convergys in a work@home position. I've worked in a brick and mortar call center previously so while I'm not new to this type of job, I am new to working from home. First, let me say, my first impression of Convergys is very positive. They're efficient, helpful and organized. My trainer is amazing with scads of patience and my virtual class of co-workers has a fantastic support tearm. Training will be a total of 12 weeks with part of this time spent setting up our home office equipment. My particular client is providing the equipment and so far I've had no issues with it, although those who have had issues have several people who have been working hard for them.
I love my home office, I love working at home and I highly recommend this for anyone who feels they have the self-discipline, and dedicated office space to do this.
