Is there anybody out there that hires people with felonies? I’ve been denied really good jobs just because I’m still on felony probation. And I’m not looking for a job that has no growth within the company

Well rounded journeyman carpenter

Depending on how old they are.. after 7 years you have no worries .. construction industry is where we felones used to go. 75 % of this country was built by felones.. but it'd getting tougher every day to find decent employment with a fair wage and just treatment... ..Walmart- McDonald's job core... anything in building where your not coming into contact with the public - customers or enter peeps residence is a good source..

Get employed first, then continue your job search; remember that any employer is going to have trust issues with you and they will need to have ways to deal with it.

I find it's best to stay flexible while searching for employment and even looking into second chance employer ads and attending job fairs is a great way to make multiple connections and find an opportunity that will be a great fit.

As of Jan. 1st this year, it's a new statue that allows folks with a felony history a "second chance". What it actually does is seals your criminal history from public view and makes it much easier for folks with a "criminal past", to get a job and start over. It shields your history from landlords, potential employers, etc., etc. However, the justice system will still be able to access your past history. The forms for filing are available down at the courthouse, and have to be filled out very carefully and accurately. Your past convictions also need to meet certain criteria to be accepted.
