I wish I was working now because I really loved working. My last 2 jobs were at 2 different Fred Meyer locations. I really enjoyed working with public. I worked in the deli at poth stores. At the second store I was in the deli for little bit, then transfered to the bakery. I really love the bakery. I learned so much in my time there. There was one customer that came in everyday to buy a donut. We talked a little bit each time and he always told me I was really wonderful at my job. One day he wrote a letter to my manager saying what a good employee I was and he wanted to give me money which we were not allow to take. But I did get employee of the month and a gift certificate. All for just doing my job. After the letter he didn't come in again but his wife did. She told me he had passed away. I told I was sorry for her loss and thank her for being such a wonderful Customer. I left shortly after and could not go back. Then I became a maid and I really enjoyed that and would love to go back to that.

Working in fast food actually taught me a lot about customer service, patience, and time management. People look down on working in fast food, but why? I learned a lot from working at Burger King that I never expected to. It was a good experience for me.

I had to apologize to the customer though it wasn't me on behalf of our company and the former colleague whom they changed to another route.

Six Flags Great America is a place where families come for a life time experience. My job was to ensure that every person left satisfied. A positive attitude guarantees satisfaction which is represented through a smile.

I think that #MinistryofHealthandHi-TechMedicallaboratory should continue to

Paitient/client interactions are my number one moments. Providing satisfying services to them (e.g.) getting back their laboratory results on time helping my depress PLHIV or homosexual paitents to access their health-care without discrimination or any form of abuse ( verbal ect)

I have learned how to become a pretty damn good cashier at Walgreens and it has also made me very good with money. The hardest part of my job was tilts, which is basically restocking, but you learn quick. Most of all I enjoy interacting with customers because they almost always make me feel good.

I’ve been working retail for a while mostly cashier but decided to branch out a bit and applied to best buy pt and ended up getting it after a phone screen and interview. I knew someone who worked there and they seemed to like it so I thought what the heck I’ll try it. Most times my favorite part of cashiering was the chatting with customers so I got pretty good pretty quick and it’s not like I’m bad at customers but I always thought of sales as something completely different to anything I could do. I feel accomplished for branching out and trying something different and it’s working out plus I love the employee discount been getting a lot of stuff I probably wouldn’t buy otherwise. It’s been great so far.

Thank you for your time and consideration. What I loved about my last job was the people and opportunity to grow in management. I am looking to advance in my career and someday implement modernized healthcare or business to help others live healthier lives.

I was a Field Service Technician for 31 years ... had the same customers and worked on same equipment for those 31 years. Over time the ownership of the business changed hands several times and the name of the business changed at least three times - but always had same customers. The next to last ownership change we of course had to keep track of our travel and labor times. During times of not working on equipment was called courtesy time .... this was time used to get maintenance done on company cars, like oil changes, tire & brake replacement. Courtesy time was also used to do paper work, do weekly reports, order parts, and do cold calls with customers trying to get maintenance and equipment leads. Courtesy time was used to keep track of our hours besides the hours we used for travel & labor. The last ownership change was a year ago ... during orientation us technicians asked about using courtesy time ... they did not have a clue about using courtesy time and did not want us to use it. We asked then how do we keep track of our time doing paper work, filling out reports, and taking care of the company car. Management told us to just roll over that time into the customer's labor and travel times. So that is what we did - but mostly with the contract maintenance customers. We did not want to put any extra charges on a charge customer. Well over the past year I would roll over the courtesy times into the labor and travel times of customers. Supervisor told me a couple of times not to roll over too much time ... but I am trying to keep track of all my time.
Management then started to get strick about ticket times matching time card times. There was a category on our time sheets for courtesy time but they did not want us to use it.
I got a phone call from my supervisor saying my times did not look right and we have to let you go. WTF !!! ... I did not get a chance to explain anything. If I did something wrong I did not get any kind of warning, did not be put on a probation, did not get a chance to do anything. 31 year career of no complaints, no disciplinary actions and boom let go just like that. My times never cost the company a dime ... there was never ever any money lost to anyone. I was unfairly let go.
