Completed taking order then hitting wrong button and losing the order. Had to call customer back and take order again and of course apologize for mistake.

Don’t do it. This is the worst company I’ve ever worked for. You will not be treated like a person; you will only be a number.

I think of myself and the people I work with as the behind the scenes magic of Amazon. We help customers when items go missing, arrive damaged, if they need help with their accounts, you name it, we do it. It's VERY fast paced and just like every other CS job I ever had, you have to learn to calm people down when they are upset and listen to their needs.

So my story......laid off last year from a company that was doing a reduction in workforce & hundreds of us were laid off. I did get a severance check of around $3,500 ,unemployment for 6 months in AZ $241 a week! I was making $16 an hour being at the company the 12 years that I was (call center). In the past year my health declined immensely , had several blood clots in my left leg right before lay off, about 6 months afterwards I found out I have an aneurysm in my brain & I did go through a procedure about 1 month ago to have stents & coiling placed in the brain to try & assist with the aneurysm . I'm NOW applying to CSR jobs like a mad woman, online, staffing agencies etc..just now got off the phone with Prudential ( commissioned based ONLY pay!) told him no thanks! I'm waiting to hear back from a Bank of America recruiter/hiring rep that contacted me yesterday but I wasn't able to get to the phone so she left a voice mail & now we're playing friggin phone tag! Don't know what she's offering for the position I applied for as far as pay goes but I truly can only really survive @$16 an hour or up, I have a family & anything truly less then $15.50 would be a struggle for me. I'm really running out of options here & I can't afford any more moments of financial issues, lack there of money, robbing Peter to pay Paul moments, borrowing several thousand from a family member to survive! HELP! I'm willing to go as low as $15.50-$15.00 & struggle from there, any words of wisdom, job opportunities I would be GRATEFUL!!!
