Hello community. I really appreciate the job leads but do not send me ones to work in retail. My job is either Receptionist or Data Entry Specialist. It really is a waste of my time to open these up to find they are not something I would apply for. H & R Block just gives a the fancy name of Client Service Professional. Again thank you for the job leads and I have applied for some of them but have not heard anything back yet.

I'm still searching for a data entry job this dead end retail shit isn't cutting it.. let alone they expect me to always come in early so I end up working alot of hours and they don't offer to let me leave early but the assistant manager always leaves early. #aggravated

It is very unfortunate that some jobs require you to have good credit when the job has NOTHING to do with currency, working in a financial institution, Wall Street, etc. I saw a opening and it was a Data Entry position and it was requiring you to "Maintain a clean credit history (no past due/collections on credit report)". I am working in a data entry position right now and has been since July 2018 and I have the best boss EVER, but the pay isn't what I can move ahead on so I am still seeking a better salary and also a permanent offer. Most individuals I know who has been out of work, or temping have this issue and it is unfair for employers to require this if you are not in a financial institution, working with currency, etc. I get doing a background check on individuals, but to require you to have a clean credit history is beyond me especially with a data entry position. First of all if individuals had not falling on hard times they wouldn't have low credit rating and we shouldn't be PUNISHED for falling on hard times, it is just like aging, you are PUNISHED for being over 50 and seeking employment regardless of your experience, these two are UNJUST and a PUNISHMENT whomever is seeking a good job and trying to rebuild their credit history. I am sure they know if you have no steady reliable income, your credit history will take a FALL, so why not look at the individual work experience/history and give them a CHANCE to rebuild what that person has lost. Like many on here, I'm looking for work. As the title says, I have been for over a month. I only have a high school diploma and don't really have the ability to go back to school. I have been in Customer Service in many venues in one way or another, but I have physical limitations that make it difficult to continue with the experience that I have in my work history. I've been applying for positions as Receptionist, Data Entry etc and have had less than 10 interviews out of the more than 40 applications that I've put in. I'm not all that knowledgeable about Microsoft Office Suite tho I have been trying to follow tutorials on it. Rather difficult considering the trial program on my computer expired and I cant afford to pay for the yearly subscription for the full version. Does anyone have suggestions that I might be able to look in to? I'm really not wanting to go back into Retail or Food Service

I moved to Jonesboro , GA exactly 11 months ago. I'm having a really difficult time landing a job.

I have experience as a PCA worker working with adults with intellectual disabilities.

I also have 10 plus years as a Data Entry Clerk.

I haven't found a job, and just trying to figure out why I'm not able to find a job.

I'm 51 years old, and seem really down right now. What should I do?
