I wish my job @ #Dave Busters - AOM had...

It SUCKED!! Long Hours! Late Niights, simetimes till 5 or 6 am the next morning. Ghetto clientele. Boss made us cheat on surveys to get higr marks on or scorecard. If GM started to not like you he Would “ Have a Plan” for that employe which meant that employee wouldn’t be working there much longer, GM would send candies and gifts to our HR person so he never got called on any of the dismissals. Hired from outside company to fill an AGM position, it should have gone to another AOM , who came up thru the ranks from bartender, moved and put his life on hold for 2 yrs, to help get this location back to number 3 in company, only to be passed over cuz because he wasn’t a yes man to the GM. The employees were mostly great, hard working group with a few exceptions. But the GM WAS TOXIC. But since his numbers were good e was a rising star, and couldn’t be touched, or maybe corporate wouldn’t touch him cuz his #’s were good. I made money there, good money, earned every penny of it and then some.

It is a good job you get to have fun while you work and its always buisy.I was a bus boy /server. AS long as the tables were clean would help serve the people there food. It gets so buisy, they must of made 400,000$ on memioral day weekend.all togeather though games, food, and most imporant the games. Also plenty of worker most of the time well not sure now heard allota people left that they need people. only thing was they were paying me like 13$ a hour i would get 1 % of the tips wich would be like 12$ to 25$ a days. A couple times i helped bar back help to clean all the bottles and made like 30$ to 50$.Its a good first jiob for a starter

Show up to interview with non slip shoes. Be ready to pull your weight, its a family there but like most families its very dysfunctional, best job ive ever had but dont be scared to tell the management whats on your mind and ways to better or fix the place, they will listen but you have to push

A #stressful #Dave'sServices day

I really had a few days of stress at Dave's throughout my years of being employed there. But My most stressful of them all was when My Daughter went in to labor and the office phone was being called by everybody in My Family. They stressed Me out bad that day.

Drama at #Dave'sServices

I really can't recall anytime I made anyone mad at work. But I have diffused a few arguments but not my own.
