To work at D.I., be willing to work with all kinds of personalities and always keep a smile on your face Be willing to help and remember that everyone is a child of God.

To work at D.I., you must live the standards of the church that owns D.I. Patience is also a virtue in working there To begin the process to get a job, speak first with your bishop.

The biggest mistake I made while working at D.I. was forgetting to clock- out.

It was a Saturday when there were several customers in the store. Many were lined up at the cash register. Being a cashier, I was helping one after another, without the chance to look up or break for many hours.

I called another co-worker to come and help me with a customer who understood Spanish well.

The understanding of some of the co-workers and leaders when there was a problem to be solved.

Deseret Industries is one of my most favorite places ive worked. If there was anything i learned while working there was team work. I not only learned that but also learning to grow relationships with people young and old.

I don't love working there I have stayed this long because I needed the job

My advice to people interested in working at #DeseretIndustries as a #ProductionWorkerII/Cashier ...
Deseret Industries is a GREAT place to work. This is a 6- 12 month job training program only. On this program they give you on-the-job training in their warehouse and in the store working part time hours. They also give you the chance to select any type of schoolling you want , paid for by them: the LDS CHURCH. They have job readiness classes, also each person has their own job counselor. I would recommend. It to anybody. They make you feel like iits all a family.

Be proactive abd absorb all the opportunities. It is a great program.
