I have a wide variety of job experience... I have been an office manager for a small photography studio, worked as a sous chef in a banquet hall, Assistant bakery team leader at a Whole Foods, Photographer, bank teller, and most recently a nanny for 3 kids. I need a job that will allow me to continue to be available to pick the kids up from school at 2pm daily. Suggestions?? #workfromhome #jobsearch

As for finding a new career, you can take the teaching experience then use it for training in whatever specific career you desire entering into. How that can be done is by writing up that new resume to focus on the area you want to train in.

I understand what you mean but there is more than 1 specific career I am looking into & my current CV is on every single job site online & there’s MANY different jobs that consider me “overqualified” b/c I have a Masters degree & places don’t want to pay what someone with a Masters would deserve. I’m thinking about taking my degree OFF!

I came to Harps with a restaurant background and some retail experience. I knew my skill set would translate, however still had to start from the bottom. I quickly was promoted and added new skills to my abilities after joining. I stayed because of the promotion and growth opportunities that were available. I, after 7 months, continue to grow and believe I can make an earnest living enough to support family of 5. There are great earning potentials at this company and I intend to achieve them quickly and confidently. I came in with little expectation however now believe I made the right career change and choice based on today's climate and job market.
