Unless you're hired for management position, Microcom will treat every employee as disposable, that goes for the Installers also. Turn-over rate is very high at Microcom, especially, Dispatch Dept, Sales Dept, and the Technicians.

I am trying to return to the workforce after about 12 years unemployment due to a moderate stroke. I have tried to keep up-to-date with current information and technologies regarding the transportation/trucking industry. I have achieved 90% recovery with a disability.

Mistake was going there to work they are a business of lair

Really being responsible for taking customers orders and having there items delivered

I am currently looking for a position as a Dispatcher within the Trucking Industry of Transportation. I have approx. 5 years as a Dispatcher, but I have been in the trucking industry for 30+ years. I have been an Owner Operator/small fleet owner. I managed the operations by dispatching my drivers, maintaining my small fleet of tractor/trailers, as well as driving my own tractor/trailer throughout the Continental US. I sold my small fleet and went back to college for an Associate of Science Degree focusing in Transportation Logistics. I was hired by a trucking firm as a Dispatcher. Later moved on to another firm where I became a Supervisor-Driver Trainer creating the Training Program for drivers with little experience. Within that same firm, I became a Hazardous Material Certified Trainer within the Safety Department. With all my trucking industry experience and my being out of work for about 13 years due to a mild stroke, ( with 90% recovery ) I am having a hard time getting responses from my resumes that I submit. I love working with Drivers; monitoring their hours of service, routing them when they request help. Having been a driver, I know the challenges of being away from home and family. The loneness felt when they are not able to speak to their family for a extended period of time. What I loved about my last job was teaching new drivers about all the DOT Regulations needed to be a driver along with using a paper log (this was before electronic logs within on board computers). With all that you read above, any suggestions that might improve my responses?
