I hated working for #DollarGeneral consistently being put down and being overworked and underworked in the same week what sense does that make I was a sales associate not a manager not a key holder a regular sales associate and I was left alone for up to a hour and a half always Main cashier but also had to run around have to be perfect because need shift leader to help if I fuck up because why not I can't do anything about it don't have a key and then after being on my feet having to use the bathroom but had to hold it for 5 hrs run to the bathroom and then get my head chewed off because I forgot to lock the cigarette case even tho there were 3 other Co workers behind the counter and next it screw dollar general I think I got more ripped off by my own company then those poor customers did
Another question! How are the first days of training like at dollar general? Is it computer work or hands on training etc?
On the 4th of October my application status was hired on that same day I did my I-9. I had to wait til Monday to be in the system. I looked this morning it's say application archived as of yesterday. What does that mean?
I have planned for the Dollar General by my house 4 * they are still looking for help. I have gone in and talk to the manager and he has even said there is nothing he can do until someone calls him about calling me in to hire me. What can I do to get hired for this job?

Working for DG has its perks like awesome customers but when you have a manager that doesn't care about the store,or it's employees what's the point? Especially when your DM doesn't help you AT ALL. Lady won't even lift a box to help get freight done. Other than that if you have a great team and great leaders then DG is great but not in International falls Minnesota.
Loved everything about working there , and I loved all my customers, I have great customer skills and great at multi tasking .
