There could be multiple reasons for the delay on the feedback you are exspecting, from doing the background check, possible realizing needing more info. for some reason, or something as little as just getting behind if a job fair was given and all of the aspects of other candidates and othe positions being handled. Just keep up the faith and remember God bless good people and I'm sure he is in there with you also. God Bless. Robin

I learned that the man who started the Dollar General store chain 150 years ago had a third grade education and overcame many, many obstacles. Today this great company collects funds to help with literacy so people can read.

Was it okay for me to quit my job after I got robbed at gun point on the job. Like sometimes I think that's why some people dont wanna hire me is cause I couldn't handle a gun being pointed at my face. I was being a week person. But then I really think back and I know I wasnt weak but am I gonna go into detail about what happen. Not at an interview!! Cause I did what I was supposed to do according to the dollar general robbery video. I did exactly what I was told to do from the robbers the whole time I'm thinking should I fight back? what should I do? but I stuck with the video because I didnt know if taking that risk would be worth it. I'd be risking my managers life and my brothers life. The whole time I was doing the things I was told to do from the robbers. I was thinking about my brother. I was wanting to fight for him I wanted to protect him and I was worried about him cause at this point in my life I didnt have a car I just graduated from high school. My brother was my ride to and from work and there was more then one robber and one of them where out there with him my big brother would do anything for me . So I knew there was the strongest possibility that he could get shot trying to save my life. And that tore me up. Cause I wanted to be out there making sure he didnt do anything stupid like saving my life for his. Call me selfish but I couldn't live with knowing he died cause I didnt have a car.

I'm 24 and have a struggle finding a job. I thought it'll be easy; I've worked as an event specialist for 2 years and a cashier in retail and restaurant for a good 5 years (Mcdonalds and Dollar General) and I've applied for a lot of jobs but no luck. I had a few interviews but I do wonder for Houston to have so many places that's hiring there really isn't much hiring. Can I get any help with a job I really don't care what job it is I can basically do anything.
