Every thing is good

Hi I just signed up on jobcase.com and was wondering if anybody has worked for doordash or GrubHub? I'm almost 60 years old but I have a really good driving record. I work manual labor my whole life and have just about worn out in my body. Driving is one thing I can do really well. So I just want to know what the experience is like in delivering from restaurants two customers in the Bay area? San Francisco Oakland Berkeley Alameda San Leandro California.

Meeting new people, being my own boss and seeing places i have never seen in my town

That I could make my own schedule. Also I was able to see how far I had to drive to pick up the food and drop it off

To be honest this has kept me afloat you do actually have to put the time and effort into Dashing I recommend doing it when there is boost pay that’s when it is really worth it I did 7 deliveries in 3 hours for $70 when boost pay. I’m in Bergen County and it has taken me time to figure the system out.
- Decline orders that are more than 10 miles round trip unless boost pay is in affect. 2.Save all gas receipts 3.Track Miledge 4.Keep all receipts for any and all matenance done to vehicle oil changes etc 5.Be clean and presentable be efficient and thorough 6.Work areas you know well 7.Be prepared to work 4 hours that’s a good shift and once ur delivery is done stay and wait a few minutes that way you conserv on gas 8.Paus orders on app when taking a break ( you can paus long blocks until you see boost pay ) $$$ 9.Feel free to contact me 10.It works and after a certain amount of Dashing you can get paid instantly within minutes I can say that has helped me out tremendously

If you feel exhausted from looking for a full-time position it might be time to step back and consider taking a gig job! ...OR if you have a job, but would like to make more money this is the post for you!
A gig job (aka “side-hustle”) is something that provides the money you need to survive NOW. In most cases, you are able to make your own hours and be your own boss!
Here are some GREAT gigs to consider
• [Instacart] (https://careers.instacart.com/openings/) (shop and deliver groceries) Great for people who like structure, organization, and those little details. You can also make tips!
• [Rover] (https://www.rover.com/become-a-sitter/?ref=header) (get paid to play with dogs) Perfect for those who love animals! Not a dog person? No worries, you can also pick and choose which types of pets you would like to work with. Learn how to make the most money with your Rover experience [here] (https://www.thesimpledollar.com/how-to-make-money-dog-sitting-through-rover/) in this article.
• [Doordash] (https://www.doordash.com/dasher/signup/) (food delivery) Bring home the bacon for yourself and for others in this role where you can make over $10 an hour delivering food from local restaurants.
• [Lyft] (https://www.lyft.com/driver) (driver) Love to drive? You can get paid for it! New drivers have options to earn some really great cash bonuses. Set your own hours and drive when YOU want to! No car? No problem you can also rent one from Lyft's rental program. Find out more info [here] (https://help.lyft.com/hc/en-us/sections/360000293648-Express-Drive-Rental-Car-Program)
• [Amazon Flex] (https://flex.amazon.com/?) (package delivery) Set your own hours and use your own vehicle to deliver packages for Amazon. You can make upwards of $18-25 per hour!
Questions? Please ask!
Have you ever worked a gig job? How was it?? : )

I wouldn't suggest it monetarily as a means to support yourself. Only as a supplemental income. There have been several occasions were I have gone into work expecting to see power zones with additional zone pay per delivery, but when everything was said and done, I would get a much smaller amt. on my zone pay than what was promised, and a few times when I didn't receive the bonus pay that was promised, at all. I just invested in a newer model pre-owned vehicle about 2 months ago so I would have reliable transportation. When I bought it, it had 28,000 miles on it, and ran very well. It now has 40,000 miles on it, and needs a new transmission. Although I do like the idea of a flexible schedule, I am discovering that almost 1/2 of what I make goes to pay for gas.

How is the pay? Is it busy in KCMO?

havent had any drama yet thank the lord
