As a property manager, before taking the job, I would ask when the last time an audit was done on the residents files. I would ask if the property is in good standing with vendors, and lastly I would ask what shape the property was in financially. Again, I truly believe the first line management is top notch. At least mine was, but I would be careful what you say to anyone higher than your DM. Overall, great properties to live at.

I'm positive I made mistakes, however, they were never addressed to me. All of my reviews were positive and yet I was still let go without being given a reason. If my DM wasn't such a good guy I would have never even known my job was in jeopardy.

Running a Property with just myself and one maintenance man for months at a time. I couldn't be everywhere at once.
