BE FLEXIBLE! Always develop a secondary skill. I was mainly an engineer but my secondary skill was computer programming. I eventually quit Aerojet and became a full time programmer. Did well. No regrets.

I've put my resume in businesses near where I am moving too. (Moving to be closer to family) I've been at my job for 25 years and I really like it. I went back to school as older adult, and obtained two associate degrees in engineering fields. These recruiters are only sending me administrative jobs and warehousing, jobs that have nothing to do with what I am searching for or have listed on my resume. On top of that, they've sent me tow motor operator jobs and trucking jobs, of which I do not have any experience in either of those two. I'm almost 50 years old, and I really do not want to go back to school. Also, the wages that have been offered to me are significantly lower than what I make an hour, like $10 less an hour. I'd be a tool to take such a cut. Any advice would be greatly appreciated thanks in advance
