Hey Chad! The number of years of experience required to qualify for a Maintenance Coordinator job can vary depending on the employer and the specific job requirements. Some job postings may not specify a minimum number of years of experience, while others may require several years of experience in a similar role.

In general, Maintenance Coordinator positions typically require some combination of education and experience in maintenance, facilities management, or a related field. Relevant experience may include working as a maintenance technician, facilities coordinator, or in a similar role.

If you're interested in a Maintenance Coordinator job, I recommend reviewing job postings for similar roles to get a better sense of the qualifications and experience requirements that are typically sought after. You can also reach out to employers directly to ask about their specific requirements for the role.

I found some jobs in your area if you are interested in applying! Best of luck! https://www.jobcase.com/jobs/results?q=Maintenance+Technician&l=Seneca%2C+South+Carolina

First, get into a maintenance position and do that job till you are comfortable. Nothing beats experience. After about 2 decades of working, then apply for leadership positions.

It shouldn't matter how old you are as long as you do your job and be the best at it then that's all that matters. In my opinion, if you give it your all you've already won.

I'm so sorry that so many people here have had such bad experiences. I've spent most of my job history working in HR or as an Office Manager. Only had one bad experience and that was co-workers and not the job itself or my superior's. Background checks should be alot faster than what some of you have experienced. Also I dont know when they retracted your offer, hopefully it wasnt at your first face to face as that would be very rude, but I've heard of that happening quite a bit. Very sad not to even get a chance to show your value

The more experience you have doing something the better at it you become. Gaining certification for something you already do puts you in a different status than others.
