a core group of supportive people in positions with which I routinely communicated. Then the Highland Park Division turned into an employee meat-grinder as the Corporate management in Europe descended on this Division to minimize the bleeding from a horribly executed launch of the Jeep Wagoneer seats. As the mis-management became more evident and the Customer (Stellantis) became more hostile and demanding, all of the Production supervision left including the Manager. Supply chain pressures led to nearly 100% turnover in the Materials Department. I was on my 5th Quality Manager in a year before I was fired. The Quality Department also had 100% turnover in a span of 13 months including the Quality Manager (s). Many of the non-union At-Will employees including myself were developing stress related health issues including one younger Quality Engineer that developed an ulcer and immediately quit. This Division also had to abandon half of the onsite manufacturing facility because they so cheapened the Metals Fabrication facility (the problem with being the lowest bidder!) that this "internal supplier could not provide a quality product. Furthermore, the Metals Fabrication side was also an unhealthy environment because they vented the welding stations inside the building. They since moved the Metals portion to Mexico. I have been in this business for over 30 years and I have never seen a launch this grotesque. The Corporate Management in Auburn Hills remains as well as the Europeans and they do not give a rat's @$$ about how you feel. I am now happily employed at a Ford Tier 1 Supplier and I encourage anyone that may be interested at working at this Company to stay far, far away!!!

At first was placed there under contract as quality engineer. They had no one to perform metrology work and they had no formal lab at that plant. I became the metrology lab and built it from the ground up. I loved my work enjoyed the challenges worked with Ford motors engineer on developing a new exhaust pipe section worked with really great people! Was a large plant but we all knew each other and worked as a big family. Later transferred to 2 different plants in Ohio. Managed the labs trained personnel from other plants worked closely with our customers representatives. Loved my work!

How my time as a #Agvteam(materialhandling) at #Faurecia changed me

The pay was good.. but the experience was not so good it's supposed to be a union job and I was let go because of another person's actions and I didn't even have a chance to speak on my behalf... I believe that it was unjust that I was let go
