
Ok, so here's the big question. What do you think is the appropriate length of time to hold somebody accountable for felony convictions? Please be honest. Sometimes when we are so close to something we can't really see it too clearly and I guess I'm a little far sighted or maybe just discouraged but I have a felony record over 25yrs old and am getting turned down for jobs I am over-qualified for and have lowered my salary expectations twice down about 30% from industry average for people who have my skill set and training. Are we no longer a society that believes in second chances and rewarding positive change. I understand the responsibility of employers to maintain safe working conditions for other employees and customers but shouldn't there be some kind of general time frame for exclusion especially if the crimes weren't violent in nature. Shouldn't those people be able to support themselves and their families as well? Let me know your thoughts

Good Afternoon Im in search of new employment at this time to better provide my my family and i i have a daughter who is 7 and a son who is 1 i am currently employed with a call center for whome i been with for 2 1/2 years but looking for a better opportunity and pay i am a supervisor at my job if anyone has knowledge of standup forelift opportunities or electric pallet jack with a company that is hiring can you guide me in the right direction my biggest down fall is that i have a criminal background which makes it hard for me to get hired i am very dependable and my work ethic is great just need an opportunity im in the allentown pa area
