Victor Perez was in the military, and had zero financial experience before going into Wells Fargo's VET Program. Now he's a credit trading analyst at Wells Fargo , and attributes that to the experiences he gained in those weeks at the internship.

I was with one of the largest and most profitable car dealer groups in New England and I was a key element to my dealer group. I am not saying this too tute my own horn but as a sales man I was ranked 9 in the country out of all 6000 plus VW certified sales consultants when i was brought into management . I was then out of 3 in my store the highest profit and close ratio , yet i was passed over twice for advancement to a GM position . I then requested to step down or back into finance in which i for 18 months was ranked in the top 5 out of over 120 f.i. managers in my company and then I had a mis-diagnosis that sent me on an emotional spiral and I ended up dealing with typical car dealer rumor mills and one day had a argument with a manager under me and due to all of the previous nonsense i was able to look past and also my performance and I again not to brag but knowing I was paid second best in the dealership couldn't get past this 1 day due to my emotional state and I left that job . That was about a year ago . I have since worked with other companies and had either too much drive or not enough aggressive which was a first for me to hear . This second comapny also stole 3800$ from me , Empire Hyundai in fall river . but I am now in a position where my daughter is in college and my son is a genius when it domes to computers and the man who company I left is very powerful , i feel like he has made it almost impossible to get a position that would aloow me not even to advance but to pick up where I left off . I dont know what to do . the business has changed alot as well with the new lawsuit that hammered dealers

I need a job taking payments over the phone or something like that man kind of hard finding

The finished product

Hello Everyone. Just need to express my frustration in trying to find a job. I am 58 years old too young to retire and apparently too old to get hired. I have excellent work experience of over 38 years in the financial sector. Automation has rendered my position as obsolete however i have experience in online settlements that should allow me to transition over to automated functions. I have been searching now for over a year and after well over 100 applications and recruiters with empty promises it gets discouraging. i don't understand how they say the unemployment rate is so low yet there are so many people looking for jobs. I know that particularly in my age group it is especially difficult to get hired. i wonder if we are included in those statistics. Also the online scams that target people applying for work are also a hindrance. Don't know what else to do except drop out of society all together and live off the land. Thanks for the attention to those who read this.

Great job doing payroll for a shipyard (yes I have experience in both). Interview went really well, I thought. Four days later (whiling I'm still waiting to hear from them) the job reposts on Indeed.com. I guess, again, I'm not good enough. I may or may not be bad news, but it certainly is discouraging.
