Ok guys, this is what I'm going thru right now with unemployment.... ANY help or advice is much appreciated b/c I have no idea what else to do!
I request payment every 2wks as I'm told to do... As of 5wks ago, I receive a message saying "Please call TWC at 877-892-3024...blah blah blah".... I've called a million times, every hour, always get the recording "Due to the overwhelming calls, we cannot take your call at this time..blah..blah..blah"... So then I'm forced to file an appeal, which I did a week ago...still haven't heard anything back from them... I do understand there's like at least a 6wk delay on my appeal hearing.. Do I still get back pay for the 5wks that I'm owed?? And does anyone have a phone number to TWC to speak to a person rather than a recording?? I'm almost to a point where I'm giving up on calling them. I have a disabled child to tend to so I can't be sitting on the phone all day long trying to reach them.

If anyone can point me in the direction of any job willing to hire me please do...I've done so many applications and call backs idk what else to do....I haven't had any luck with anything....my previous experience was mainly customer service/ some Bartending/ cocktail waitress I'm very good people person. I think my problem is that I have a 2 yr gap of not working. I was a stay at home mom.
