I love working for both organizations. Particularly Indiana Revenue Department. There, I got to know how a tax system works, and I had a thoughtful, caring, smart supervisor. My teammates were all helpful, friendly and funny. If time can reverse, I'll stick on that team and department. Now I can only pray for all my teammates well from Taiwan.

I rallied a department concall meeting with Singapore office, but I forgot the time zone difference. So you know, how embarrassed!

Drama at #GELlihytig,RevenueDepartmentinIndiana,USA

I got my supervisor angry because I was late to work for 10 minutes straight for a week. Then, I apologized and explained why I'm late. Normally, I always worked on time, but during that week my husband got lay-off and he had to go for a job interview overseas. So I needed to take my daughter myself to the school. But I could not send my daughter to the school too early until I'm sure the carer was presented at school. Besides that I needed a little more commute minutes between the school and the working place.

What I loved working at #GELlihytig,RevenueDepartmentinIndiana,USA

I worked as a computer information system specialist in GE. I was so lucky to be a member of a wonderful team then. My team leader had an admirable leadership, and my other teammates were either like my mentors or good friends to me. All in all, they are thoughtful and helpful. We cooperated well at work. The company also provided me with a spacious working office, and I could always complete my assignment on time with accuracy. However, there was one thing that gave me and the other coworkers a lot of stress, which was the introduction and execution of Six Sigma Evaluation System in GE。By the way, there was another system that upseted me a lot too. The compay's promotion system also partly and secretly relied on the donation amount to the United Way. Based on the amount, it gave Gold, Bronze or Silver medals to the donators. I don't think Jesus would agree with this kind of donation behavior. In conclusion, I still miss my old team. I was so lucky to work together with them once.
