So maybe a couple months ago I had applied to my local grocery store Price Chopper I was given an interview then was told to wait 2 weeks because of background check supposedly well when I called at the end of the 2 weeks I was told they hired someone else cause of emergency supposedly and they couldn't call sooner to tell me but made me wait and waste my time

5 days away from the fair! Can't wait to meet everyone! Last fair I think about 500 people got hired - lets see if we can't crack 1000 this year!
We'll have info to help everyone crush it out over the next few days. In meantime suggest you do following:
fix up and upload your resume. (don't have one? no worries - use the profile builder here on jobcase - after you are done with a 5-10 minute little wizard you'll have a great profile for employers to see you AND you can creat a pdf resume from it with one button!) - just click on your pic in the upper right of this screen to get to your edit-profile section
Get your outfit ready! this is business casual so basically think about how you'd dress for a church Sunday. You can't really go wrong by being overdressed (for example - . for men - you don't need a full suit & tie, but better to wear a suit than to wear torn jeans and t-shirt. you get it). for me: Im prob going to wear a suit without a tie, or I might just wear non jean pants a button down shirt and a sportcoat.
practice your elevator pitch out loud (hopefully with friends). introduce yourself, say something compelling about what you do, or have done; and say what you are looking for and why company X is so interesting to you. 4 sentences or so - 20 seconds (they call it elevator pitch cuz its something you should be able to say from floor 1 to floor 2 in an elevator before the door opens).
look at the companies in snapshot (it will keep updating) and start thinking about 3-5 that you'd really like to meet. then research them on google, jobcase or glassdoor and get 2-3 questions ready to ask them.
Relax - this is gonna be fun! these employers are not coming all the way to leave without hiring people. And they need LOTS of new employees - so this isn't a competition among the other attendees. No doubt hundreds will get hired from this initial convo on june29th. If you are prepared and show up with a smile and confidence - I know you can be one of them.
So like I said. Exciting! Lets do this!

I been laid off from working at fcr and no job has hired me since then it’s been 6 months I think my resume doesn’t stand out

Someone is asking why the video interview, should be a big deal .

Janitorial

You could probably get hired without any experience at all! You could call a few local schools and find out if there are any openings and use any qualifications you have from other jobs to get the position. Good Luck! 💕

I was let go after 17 years with no explanation

What do I do if an employer hired me I have the email that says you're hired Then ran a background check on me Found a pending charge cause I'm fighting a case in court have not found been found guilty Then they sent me 2 more emails asking questions then decided to go with another candidate after hiring me What Should I do contact a lawyer

There is nothing you can do wait until case is over and if you don’t get convicted reapply

ok ty

Hi Kathy, first and most you need to be extremely organized, very focused on the tiniest details like numbers and names research, and must have communication always. Must have Information Governance skills as well. you need to be sharp if it is a face pace office, multi-task, be on the alert with emails and know how to calendar. it is not just a calendar and oh know your documents and abbreviation to the Title of the documents and where to file. Under the category that needs to be filed. Must have a bachelor degree

filing is not just putting a piece of paper in a file. I have come across documents files in the wrong file and all because that person did not take the time to look carefully and review the document and that is when trouble hit the fan when you have an attorney asking for that particular document. I can say this you will have that attorney chew your head and your supervisor's head as well. It is not a laughing matter. there is lots of money at stake with filing because that attorney has the pressure from a JUDGE and the HEad Partner.

The job link isn't working or have you hired someone already it isn't even listed under Optum jobs (Patient Access Representative)
