Also, another big mistake is staying at the society for as long as I have. I only stay because I ADORE the residents there, but I just can't handle all the damn stress anymore. We are under appreciated, under payed, under staffed to make it worthwhile anymore. I honestly don't see myself staying for very much longer!!!!

Honestly?? I would tell them to find work elsewhere. Good Samaratain Society is NOT the place to work.

Letting 8 call lights go off for 45 minutes because I'm in with one resident that takes at least 45 minutes to get up in the mornings. It's hard to prioritize when we just don't have the staff to care for our individuals the way they DESERVE!!!!!

Every day is stressful. We work with two people on the floor trying to care for 30 residents. It's too much for all of us to take. We just can't care for our residents like they deserve because we don't have enough staff working the floor. Two CNA's can't properly care for 30 residents!!!!

It was a family member. She got upset because I wasn't able to do what her and the resident wanted me to do right away. I was extremely busy and couldn't get to her family member right away and she yelled at me. I apologized for taking too long and did what they had wanted. She then apologized for yelling at me.

I love my residents and their families.
