Walked away from them
I sort donations at Goodwill and you wouldn’t believe some thing that are donated. Last week someone donated about 6 huge photo albums full of family photos! Like full baby pictures and school day photos all the way to graduation photos! It was weird seeing them since it was like seeing someone’s whole life play out thru them! I haven’t worked here forever but i guess this happens when people pass away and their family just doesn’t want to deal with sorting everything.. Its very sad sometimes.. Other times there are good donations that we can send to our district HQ to be sold online and meet our goals!
The friendly environment
It was nice to help have nice clothing for people that couldn’t afford full price items it was a fairly calm place
I feel the best thing working with Goodwill, was the positive approach while associating, communicating with both the customers, and fellow employees. This factor made a great experience for me, working with Goodwill, the community, leaving me with a greater desire to continue in the field of management.
