I called and asked to volunteer. They placed me in the office. I did organize and alphabetize. Then i did data entry on donations and amounts. I had to answer phone calls. Dixie was the lady in charge of me. In fact I could volunteer again since it's one of my favorite charities.

Hey Jobcase peeps! Lol! Here is some info that might be needed( please excuse if full details aren't given! I tried to get 1-800 numbers but couldn't)! If you are disabled, you might be eligible for meals on wheels. In addition, if you need a home and are able to meet certain criteria/ requirements habitat for humanity/ humanities might be able to help! The number for meals on wheels in California is 213-484-7775. I hope this info can/ will help someone! Love u guys and praying for you all to become employed! Blessings!

It's super awesome , you help build someone's house. After you complete your task you feel like apart of the home that someone has also put in hours to have the home built for them!

How volunteering at #OasisofLove,HabitatforHumanity,NECICCommunity changed me

These organizations are in Ohio where I relocated from. I learned a lot about health and human services. I love helping people and I learned it at an early age being #6 of 10 children. My late father was a Army Veteran who came back from serving in 2 wars forever changed and an alcoholic which left my Beautiful Mother to raise us as a single parent. God touched the hearts of strangers to bring us groceries and clothing. I will always be grateful and give back by volunteering and serving whatever community I live in. The world often shows anger and hate, however more than ever the world needs to see the Love of Jesus Christ shown to everyone. Our children and teens need to know that someone really cares about them. This is what I am passionate about.
