Is there any job more important, is there any job more rewarding than that of being a DAD? Right now I’m having a coffee anxious to see my kids and thinking of my dad. One of his wisdoms was “never forget what you are working for”. I am sure many of you reading this think of that every morning when your feet hit the ground. And no matter the day, you love, you provide, you play, you worry, you guide, you rejoice, you comfort, you rock! So enjoy your day gentlemen, you’ve earned it! Happy Father’s Day!

I love my dad and I know not every person out there feels the same about their own, but I feel lucky today. Not just because it's Father's Day, but everyday. My parents owned a business for 23 years and my dad taught me so much about what it means to work for what you want in life. I wouldn't be the same person without his teachings. I can never thank him enough for the lessons he has taught me and continues to teach me as I navigate through life. My husband lost his own father this past winter, so I am reflecting and being grateful to not only my dad, but all those that are with us and that we care about. It's easy to forget, but life goes by in a flash. So today, I thank my dad for his patience and support. What will you thank your dad for?

Let’s hear it for all the dad’s out there. For putting in the time and the effort. For sharing their experience and wisdom. Thanks for helping us grow in every way.

Have a reason why your dad is so special? Tell us here.
