I'm from El paso Texas. I recently moved to Florida and was offered a job. I took the position as a busser and worked my way to HOH as fryer and expo. After working for months to really understand how bad I was treated not only that my brother was the first to be harassed and management did nothing but fired him and kept other employee when both were in that argument Jesus was his name and Andrew Garcia my brother .i bit my tongue because I need the job.josh the cook managment is very rude calling with no respect. Sherri has no respect and employee like Jordan calling women the B word. I got sick and have no insurance and they took me off the schedule with an answer of them saying not my problem after working 4 months not missing or day.ill be talking to lawyer because it was wrong of them.yes a probation would of been fine but that was low.bad management.i enjoyed working there be was able to survive.now I have no job bills are comig and it seems as Cheddar's does not care so I'll be taking it to my own hands as well as my brother. They all need to be fired and rehire other managers I seen so many people quit because how disrespectful the team is in the back.i had better months than one day.thank you for the opportunity but I will talk to someone about this and your policy on managment.my name is Christopher Flores who was at Cheddar's in Daytona Beach Florida 32114.Have a great day thank you. Christopher F.

I have been working for this transport and logistics company as a Driver for over 2.5 years. The company I work for subcontracts its services to other bigger companies(Client) by providing transportation to their employees. I transport the Clients employees, equipment and paperwork to, from and within their working area, and are on-call 24*7. The issue I am having is job place harassment by a clients employee. This individual has embarked on a smear campaign of harassment against me. He has made a series of several false allegations spanning several months reporting me to his company. I was cleared of the false charges, but lost both time and income during the investigation. He also complained making multiple derogatory remarks about me to several other employees. He posted negative comments about me on their personal message board. He also bragged to other coworkers telling them, "I'm gonna get that bitch fired." This type of behavior made for a very hostile working environment. I have never done anything that would spark this type of hate to anyone let alone a client. I told my immediate, regional and area supervisors when it first began, of each incident that occurred, but nothing was done to correct the problem. I tried calling our HR Dept multiple times and could never get thru to anyone to discuss my issues. I left several messages, but no one ever returned my call. In desperation I wrote a statement to this Clients supervisor hoping to get some resolution. The next thing I know, I'm being let go because the client doesn't want me working there no explanation given. Any advice????@@

I will try to condence this as much as possible.  It is the first time I have spoken of this.  3 years ago I had the perfect job.  I loved what I did,  got along well with my coworkers,  made good money.  Icing on the cake,  it was within walking distance from my home.  After working there for about 6 months,  my boss became sexually abusive.  At first it was verbal.  He said things to me that I could not repeat If I wanted to.  Filthy,  degrading,  disgusting things that I had ever heard in my life (and I am 50!!) I told him on several occasions that he had crossed the line and asked him to stop.  Everything was OK after that, for about a week. He resumed his harassment and was starting to become physical (leaning against me,  whispering dirty stuff in my ear,  trying to hold my hand.  It was humiliating and unprovoked.  For various reasons I decided to keep it to myself and avoid him as much as possible.  Eventually,  by internalizing my feelings,  they started to effect my health.  I missed a lot of work,  and finally had to resign (after 3 years).  I have applied for and have been offered a few jobs.  I have been unemployed for 4 years.  When a prospective employer calls to verify my employment,  he lies for me and says I was there for a lot longer then I actually was.  I'm sure he does that because, although I told no one why I left,  I'm pretty sure he knows why.  Trying to get a job after being out of work for 4 years,  with not much of a reason as to why I left that job,  is almost impossible.  My current problem is that I am applying for a job that requires a polygraph.  If I lie on my resume,  I will probably fail the polygraph.  I'm afraid telling the truth will definitely make me look "high maintenance " and I still won't get a job.  So,  that's it.  What do I do?

I was called a very vulgar female body part by a female coworker and had the door subsequently slammed in my face. WGR never winced. Maybe that normal conduct in his office. The female coworker was never reprimanded and is in fact still employed by his office.

I worked for a very small company for three years. I reported to the President and at first things were going well. After a few months he began making very explicit comments when he would be in my office. One time he came behind my desk and put his hands on my shoulders and basically told me I was stuck there and if I ever said anything he would ruin. About a month after this he didn't approach me and there was relief. I later learned he was involved in an affair with one of the other women (there were three of us). During this time, I fell at work and broke my foot. I fell because he was in my office behind my desk and I stood up to tell him to never touch me again and get out of my office. He grabbed my arm and somehow I fell. Since I was the only one to do my job, I would have another employee pick me up in the mornings and take me in since I was non weight bearing for 14 weeks. Instead of going to lunch, I would close my office doors, eat lunch and take a nap on the sofa in my office. I woke up to this man with his hands going up my legs and he had taken my knee scooter so I had no way to run if I wanted to. Luckily one of the male employees returned and it save me. After this I went to the two other partners of the company and let them know. He denied it. I was actively looking for employment, but learned he was giving me a bad reference to potential employers. I had a child to support so quitting without a job wasn't possible. Fast forward a few months later and the company is going out of business. I want to sue for sexual harassment among other things and I have substantial proof he was harassing me. He was stupid enough to put it in an email and text. Part of me says let it go and the other part says to stick it to him. He apparently has a history of this behavior and has had work relationships everywhere he has worked. Is there any benefit to suing for sexual harassment?

As I've posted some months back,a temp agency unfairly turned around on me to fire me because I was sexually assaulted. It wasn't right. Since then,I have taken my case a a lawyer and currently as of now,I won my case to get my job back. I've also started working at a no the factory, but I am planning here soon to go back there. I applied to work in another department there. I've been at my new job for almost a month now,ans I can say the atmosphere is so much nicer! But the temp agency has to fix what they've did because I became Ineligible back in February after applying with another temp agency.
